I raise this prayer for the new governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy. A different kind of liberal, he is rich and Jas been active in politics only after his retirement. Having served as Ambassador to Germany, he has become governor of a small but populous state.
Keep him safe and free of scandal as he serves his state.

Heavenly Father, I pray for the continued health and well-being of Gov. Ricketts as he enters a hot summer campaign season. Be with him and his family, reminding them that is You who directs their steps.
Preserve the candidates from scandal and negative campaigning. This I pray in Jesus's Name, amen.
Heavenly Father, I pray tonight for the continued success for Montana under the leadership of Governor Bullock. Bless his family as they share his talents with their neighbors.
Grant the governor health and continued good will with the citizens of his state.

Heavenly Father, I raise up Lt. Governor Parson as he is sworn in to the office of governor at the resignation of his predecessor. Be with the people of Missouri as they face the midterm elections with a new leader.
Be with Mr. Parson as he adjusts to a position he has trained for all his political career. Guard him from scandal and heal the relationships of the former governor and his family.

Heavenly Father, grant Governor Bryant health and wisdom to run the state of Mississippi for the final 18 months of his second term. Thank you for his stand for life in his state.
